While the longstanding leading sire, Expo, maintains his hold as #1 for LPI, Milk and Protein as well as #2 for Fat, there are two newly proven sires that penetrate the Top 10 LPI list this round. At #2 LPI (#6 Milk, #5 Fat, tied #5 Protein, #2 Conformation), is Beauvoie Sultan Cansey ET, who is a son of the Jersey sire, SHF Centurion Sultan, out of De Tilly Oscar Noisette ET. Also of interest is De Tilly Karate KungFu ET (dam is De Tilly Menhir Tétine) at #9 LPI, who also becomes the new Conformation leader with +10. The Top 5 LPI list is completed by Dr. Terreur (#5 Milk, #1 Fat, #3 Protein), Urluberlu (#3 Fat) and Trad Kid (tied #5 Protein), in that order.
After being the highest newly indexed cow in April, Celebrity Urluberlu Corn gains another 164 points to take over the #1 LPI position (#1 Fat), forcing Amandes Vladimir Adele down to #2 LPI (#3 Fat, tied #1 Protein, #1 Conformation) this round. The next two cows also switch placings as Amandes Vladimir Dancing Queen climbs up one spot to #3 LPI (#3 Milk, tied #1 Protein), ahead of Celebrity Vladimir You, now at #4 LPI (#4 Fat, tied #2 Conformation). Amandes Vladimir Anabelle (tied #5 Protein) does the same and moves from #6 to #5 LPI to complete the list of Top 5 LPI this August. The highest newly indexed cow this round is Amandes Vladimir Déborah at #32 LPI, who is a daughter of Amandes Oscar Arrabella.
