The Western Classic Junior Dairy Show is now accepting entries for the 2020 show! The show will take place on February 29th & March 1st 2020 in Hanord, CA. The Committee looks forward to once again providing a fun and enjoyable experience for all exhibitors.
All entries are due February 19, 2020. Enter online HERE
Schedule of events is as follows:
Thursday, February 27th
6:00 am-10:00 pm: Barns Available
6:00 am: Milk Barn opens and will remain open through Sunday
Friday, February 28th
6:00am-10:00 pm: Barns Available
11am: Livestock office opens & check-in begins
6pm: Exhibitor’s Meeting
7pm: 2nd Annual Adult Showmanship Contest
Saturday, February 29th
7:30 am: All paperwork for Saturday Show must be checked-in
8:00 am: Dairy Judging Contest (must register by 7:30 am)
10:45 am: Group picture with all exhibitors in Show Ring
11:00 am: Dairy Showmanship (starting with PeeWee) followed by AOB Heifer Classes (alternating Registered & Grade)
6:30 pm: Exhibitor BBQ
Sunday, March 1st
7:30 am: All paperwork for Sunday Show must be checked-in
9:00 am: Holstein Heifer Classes (alternating Registered & Grade)
12:00pm: ALL Cow classes (Reg. Holstein, Reg. AOB, Grade Holstein& Grade AOB alternating). At completion of Cow Show, Supreme Junior Champion followed by Supreme Champion (all divisions compete)
