The Madison-based Rural Mutual Insurance Company announced it will be holding free information seminars to talk about its new Dairy Revenue Protection insurance product.
The program, which was developed by the American Farm Bureau in collaboration with the USDA’s Risk Management Association, is designed to help farmers manage against unanticipated declines in revenue from milk price volatility.
AFBF Economist John Newton will be on hand to explain the benefits of the program.
The forums will be held at the following locations:
** September 24: Madison- Crowne Plaza, Madison at 2:30 p.m. and White House Wyndham, Richland Center at 7:00 p.m.
** September 25: Green Mill Restaurant and Bar, Eau Claire at 11:00 a.m.; Westwood Conference Center, Wausau at 3:00 p.m.; and Holiday Inn & Conference Center, Appleton at 7:00 p.m.
