Rebecca “Becky” Boltmann laid to rest

Rebecca “Becky” Boltmann, age 69, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Benton Township, Cologne, Minnesota, with interment at a later date in Ohio.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017, from 5:00-9:00 P.M. at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota. Visitation will continue two hours prior the service at the church on Wednesday.

Obituary

Rebecca “Becky” Coralene (Humerickhouse) Boltmann was born on November 25, 1947, in Dover, Ohio. She was the daughter of Elmer and Helen (West) Humerickhouse. Rebecca was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Dalton, Ohio, and graduated with the Dalton High School Class of 1965.

On October 16, 1999, Becky was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Boltmann at Dalton Presbyterian Church in Dalton, Ohio. Her life was blessed by two daughters, Cindy Howman and Donna Hawvermale. Becky made her home in Dalton and in 1999 moved to Glencoe, Minnesota. Becky and Bob shared over 17 years of marriage.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and homemaker, Becky was a full-time dairy farmer her whole life. She worked at Westinghouse and P Graham Dunn. Becky also worked at Hite Hardware in Glencoe, Minnesota, for 15 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Benton Township, Cologne, Minnesota, and previously was a member of Dalton Presbyterian Church in Dalton, Ohio. She was a member of the Jersey Cattle Association and was a 4-H advisor in Ohio for many years with the Dalton Big Four 4-H Club.

Becky enjoyed flowers, her cows, going to cow shows to watch her granddaughters, country music and attending Country Fest. She had the pleasure of meeting Brad Paisley. Becky also loved her cat, Scruffy. She especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren (Ashley and Kelly), family and friends.

Becky passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minnesota, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 25 days.

Becky is preceded in death by her Parents, Elmer and Helen Humerickhouse.
