Lactanet Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Frido Hamoen as an external Director to the Board.
Frido Hamoen is currently the Managing Director of CRV services in The Netherlands and Flanders where his responsibilities include the delivery of milk recording and artificial insemination services through a team of more than 1,000 employees.
Frido is also the vice-chair of ICAR (International Committee for Animal Recording).
Born and raised on a dairy farm in The Netherlands, Frido has a degree in Animal Science and a Masters in Animal Breeding. During the past 20 years with CRV, he has held a position of growing responsibilities including Managing Director of Data, Manager of Global Product Management Information, Manager of Innovation and Marketing Manager.
In addition to his experience with CRV, Frido continued to operate the family dairy farm until recently while also working and raising his family.
At a time when our industry is changing rapidly, the Lactanet Board is pleased to add the broad dairy experience and international perspective of Frido to the Board.
