The American Milking Shorthorn Society (AMSS) board of directors unanimously voted Tuesday to cancel the 2020 AMSS National Convention to be held in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. The National Milking Shorthorn Sale will also be cancelled.
Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the board of directors and the planning committee of the Wisconsin convention felt at this point in time, it is in the best interest of all parties to cancel this year’s convention to protect the health and safety of all of our members.
The Wisconsin Milking Shorthorn Breeders Association will continue working on details to host the 2021 National Convention in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Thank you to the Illinois Milking Shorthorn Society for allowing Wisconsin to host next year and accepting the 2022 convention.
The Executive Board will be working on details related to conducting the 100th Annual Meeting of the American Milking Shorthorn Society at a later date. More information will be shared with the membership soon.
