UK Livestock Event 2014 – Brown Swiss Show

For the second year running Soulseat Jublend Beatrice took the Brown Swiss supreme for Robert and Sheila McColm, who milk 90 Brown Swiss alongside 20 Holsteins at Stranraer. Last year the third calver also went on the take the exhibitor bred inter-breed and the overall reserve inter-breed titles as well as being breed champion at UK Dairy Expo.
Jonny Lochhead from Mouswald, Dumfries, stood reserve with Kedar TD Reia, a third calver, which is projected to give 11,500kg in this lactation. She was breed champion at UK Dairy Expo in March and also in 2012.
