The Legacy of Golden Rose Genetics

The Legacy of Golden Rose Genetics took place on June 28th on the farm in Christina, PA. The Sale featured 123 live lots which brought an average of $1785. The sale also featured 13 embryo lots which averaged in at $825.

An estimated 1000 people attended the sale. Animals were sold to breeders across North America including Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Ohio and as far away as Iowa, Wisconsin, Texas and Canada.  The sale included 50 descendants of Britzi’s fourth dam Oakfield Pronto Ritzi EX-93 2E, including the high seller on the day – Golden-Rose BarBritzi B-Red EX-90, the 1st 20th generation Excellent animal in the Holstein breed. She sold for $15,500 to Ferme Blondin of St. Placide, QC.
