The Equinox Sale

The Equinox Sale was held April 6th at Eaton Holsteins in Syracuse, NY and finished up with an unofficial gross of $1,245,800. 94 Holstein lots had an unofficial average of $11,436 while 7 Jersey lots averaged $24,415.

Topping the sale at $170,000 was Lot 106, Jacobs Sid Beauty EX92, the 2015 All-American Junior 2 Year Old, a Sid from Jacobs Goldwyn Britany EX96-2E. She was consigned by Eaton & Murphy, NY and purchased by Cedar Lane Farms, NJ.

Second high seller was Lot 114, and was the top selling Jersey at $126,000. Lyon AJack Bay, an Applejack Senior 2 Year Old from an EX93-2E Action was consigned by Keightly Core Jerseys, F&D Borba & Kash-In Jerseys, KY and was purchased by Glamourview, MD.

The third high seller was Lot 104 at $55,000. Winterbay Dude Guinness EX92 the 2016 WDE Reserve Intermediate Champion, a Dude from an EX92-3E Denison and was consigned by Crackholm & Aaron Eaton, NY.

The fourth high seller at $49,000 was Lot 61, Jacobs Doorman Velvet, a March 2016 Doorman daughter from Jacobs Goldwyn Valana EX95. She was the consignment of Ferme Jacobs, QC.

Rounding out the top five high sellers was Lot 93 at $41,000. Sunny Plains Dempsey Laurel VG8902YR , a Dempsey Sr 3 Year Old due in August to Byway, from an EX Braxton from an EX92-2E Gibson. She was the consignment of Shilling, Phoenix & Eaton, NY.
