Spring Sensation Sale

The Spring Sensation Sale 2017 took place May 20th and wrapped up with an astounding $23,430 average on 74 full lots, grossing $1,750,800. Five animals surpassed the $100,000 mark.

The Top Seller was Lot 9, OCD Legendary Rae 41134, commanding the price of $200,000 from Progenesis, ON. She is a +2892GTPI +982NM +11.6PL +5.1DPR Legendary from a +2654 Delta daughter of EDG Ruby Uno Rae EX90-DOM, followed by nine generations of VG & EX dams.

Two lots sold for the he second high price of $150,000. Lot 14 was OCD Banderas Missy 39382-ET. She is a +2853GTPI +934NM +7.8PL +1.9DPR Banderas from a +2645 Delta daughter of Butz Hill Magical Missy EX91, followed by five generations of VG & EX dams from the Eastside Lewisdale Gold Missy EX95 family. She was purchased by De Novo Genetics, WI.

Also selling for $150,000 was Lot 12, OCD Bandare Lavage 41238-ET, a +2883GTPI +931NM +8.4PL +3.6DPR Lavage from a VG85-DOM Supersire followed by 9 generations of EX & VG dams from the Laurie Sheiks. She was the selection of Westcoast Holsteins, BC.

Two lots also tied for the third-high price, bringing $110,000 each. Lot 25 was OCD Jedi Felisha 37358-ET, a +2874GTPI +77P +930NM +6.8PL +3.4DPR Jedi from a +2537GTPI Tatum out of a GP81-DOM Supersire followed by 8 generations of VG & EX dams from the Raven family. She was purchased by Alta Genetics, WI.

Also selling for $110,000 was Lot 8A, OCD Jedi Taya 37904-ET. She is a +2851GTPI +71P +878NM +7.8PL +3.4DPR Jedi from a VG87-2YR Kingboy out of a VG86 Numero Uno followed by eight of the next nine generations being scored VG or EX. She was selected by Progenesis LP, ON.

Her full sister, Lot 8B, sold for $90,000. OCD Jedi Taya 38354-ET. She is a +2859GTPI +72P +830NM +7.6PL +3.5DPR Jedi from a VG87-2YR Kingboy out of a VG86 Numero Uno followed by eight of the next nine generations being scored VG or EX. She was purchased by Dan Lufkin, NY.

Rounding out the top five high prices of the day was Lot 10, selling for $85,000. OCD Charley Rae 41095-ET is a +2812GTPI +985NM +8.6PL +2.0DPR Charley from a +2731GTPI Delta daughter of EDG Ruby Uno Rae EX90-DOM, followed by nine generations of VG & EX dams. She was purchased by De Novo Genetics, WI.

The top selling type lot at $13,500 was Lot 51, Oakfield Doorman Lexie-ET, a milking yearling prospect, due the end of August. Lexie is a Doorman from an EX90 Atwood daughter of Winterbay Goldwyn Lotto EX95 2x All-American & All-Canadian. She was purchased by T&L Cattle Co., BC.

The second high type lot was Lot 33, bringing $9,400. Oakfield Soloman Extreme-ET is a march 2016 Soloman daughter of Budjon-JK Emilys Edair-ET EX95-2E followed by seven more generations of EX dams from the Krull Broker Elegance family. Extreme was the selection of Brooke & Braxton Foote, NY.

Two lots tied for the  third high selling type lot, bringing $9,000 each. Selling for $9,000  was Oakfield Doorman Enchant-ET, selling as Lot 32. She is a March 2016 Doorman daughter of Budjon-JK Emilys Edair-ET EX95-2E followed by seven more generations of EX dams from the Krull Broker Elegance family and was purchased  by Jake Hein & Wilfred Bergman, OH.

Oakfield Crsh Relentless also sold for $9,000 as Lot 3. She is a March 2017 Crush daughter of the 2016 HM All-American Junior 3 Year Old Craigcrest Rubies Rachelle-ET EX92. She was purchased by Kolton & Savannah Crack, QC.

The fourth high price paid for a type lot was $8,700, paid for Lot 83. Oakfield Brokaw Teddy is a milking yearling prospect, due the first of September. She is a Brokaw daughter of Ernest-Anthony Jaz Tempo-ET, followed by three more generations of EX dams from the C Alanvale Inspiration Tina family. Bradon Almeida, CA was the successful bidder.

Rounding out the top five prices for type lots was Lot 54, Oakfield Byway Taxi-ET, selling for $8,000. She is a December 2016 Byway daughter of Ernest-Anthony Jaz Tempo-ET, followed by three more generations of EX dams from the C Alanvale Inspiration Tina family. She was purchased by Abe Light & Prinse Farms, BC.
