The Moorclose Holsteins Complete Dispersal was held May 22nd at the farm in Cuba City, WI. The sale averaged $2,625 on 160 lots.
Top seller for the day was Lot 38, bringing $12,000. Ms Apple KB Ateka-ET VG85-2YR is a Kingboy daughter of KHW Regiment Apple-Red EX96-3E-DOM, selling pregnant in March to Crush. She is a potential 8th generation EX, and sold with a contract for a healthy R&W heifer calf by a Mutually Agreeable Sire.
Lot 1 was the second high seller for $9,500. Moorclose Atwood Wren VG88 sold fresh in April. Wren is an Atwood Junior 3 Year Old from a VG88 Sid x EX91-2E Dundee x three more generations of EX dams.
Third high seller was Lot 98 for $7,700, Moorclose Amazing Cheeto VG87, an AltaAmazing from a VG88 Damion.
Fourth high price of the day was Lot 3 selling for $7,000. Moorclose Fever Windsor is a Senior 2 Year Old Fever from a VG88 Lightning daughter out of an EX91-2E Dundee followed by three more generations of EX dams.
Lot 82 was the fifth high seller at $6,650. Ruby-D Destry Rollo-Red VG86 is a Destry from a VG86 Advent followed by a VG86 Talent followed by seven generations of VG & EX dams from the DRA August family.
Lot 14 rounded out the top six high prices, bringing $5,800. Moorclose Avalanche Whine is a July 2016 Avalanche from a VG87 Damion out of an EX94-2E Goldwyn with two more EX dams
