The MilkSource Select Sale 2017 took place April 1st at the farm in Kaukauna, WI, averaging $5,800 with a top price of $44,500 paid for Lot 53 Milksource Dft Lexus-Red-ET, a recently fresh Junior 2 Year Old duaghter of Wilstar-RS Tlt Limited-Red.

The MilkSource Select Sale 2017 took place April 1st at the farm in Kaukauna, WI and averaged $5,800.
The top price of the day was $44,500 paid for Lot 53 Milksource Dft Lexus-Red-ET. Lexus is a Junior 2 Year Old, fresh in February. She is a defiant daughter of Wilstar-RS Tlt Limited-Red-ET EX94-2E 2011 R&W All-American & All-Canadian Aged Cow, followed by four generations of EX dams. Lexus as purchased by Troy & Sarah Wendorf, WI with Golden Oaks Farm, IL being the contending bidder.
Second high seller of the sale was Lot 57, selling for $40,200. Greenlea A Care-Red-ETS EX90 is a 2x Royal Winter Fair Class winner. She is due in July with an ultrasounded Awesome heifer calf. Cared is an Absolute daughter of Yursden Kite Caramac-Red EX92 2x R&W All-American. She was purchased by Pierre Boulet, QC.
The third high seller was Milksource Byway Affection, selling for $23,500 to Michael Heath, MD. Affection is a July 2016 Byway daughter of Ms Apple Atarah-ET VG86, an Atwood daughter of KHW Regiment Apple-Red EX96-3E-DOM.
Milksource Gldndrm Asset-ET sold as Lot 1 for $22,500 to Blair Weeks, PEI & Parrabel Genetics & Rocky Allen, AUS to be the fourth high selling lot of the day. She is a September 2016 Golden Dreams daughter of the 2016 Reserve All-American & Reserve All-Canadian 5 Year Old Weeks Dundee Anika EX95. Following Anika in the pedigree is an EX95-3E-DOM Durham and then Shoremar S Alicia EX97-3E.
Rounding out the top five high selling lots was Lot 77 Ploesgsway Goldwyn Nuts Is U-ET EX91, due the end of April. She is a Goldwyn from an EX94-2E Talent followed by six generations of VG dams.

Lot 70…$9,000….MS-AOL Cntndr Rookie-Red-ET VG85, a Junior 33 Year Old for this year fresh in March. Rookie is a Contender from an EX91 Hvezda followed by eight generations of EX dams from the Tony Rae branch of the Roxy family.
Lot 56…$8,700…Rokey-Benfer R Cutie-Red-ET EX92, due in May. Cutie is a Redman from an EX92-2E Starfire daughter of Yursden Kite Caramac EX92 2x R&W All-American.
Lot 60…$8,600…Milksource Redbrst Alma-Red VG88, due the end of April with an ultrasounded Diamondback heifer calf. Alma is a Redburst from a VG87 Contender out of an EX90 Advent followed by four generations of EX dams from the Shoremar S Alicia EX97-3E family.
Lot 34…$8,600…Macpres Fortune Koquine-ET EX95-2E, a Fortune from an EX91-2E Talent daughter. Koquine was nominated All-American Aged Cow in 2014.
Lot 84…$8,400…Milksource Byway Foxy, a September Byway from a VG85 Dundee out of an EX94 Sanchez followed by six generations of EX & VG dams from the Plushanski Chief Faith EX94-4E-GMD family.
