Sale Day Results


The GTPI 5th Edition sale was held on Friday, February 8th at the fairgrounds in Lebanon, PA. Managed by Landis Marketing and Daniel Brandt, the sale averaged of $4616 on 102 full lots.

The top seller for the day at $56,000 was lot 1, MD-Mrk-Ovf Uno Marge-ET. This +2495 GTPI Numero Uno is from Pine-Tree Missy Miranda VG-86, then the famous Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy-ET 3E-92. This family is know with transmitting high genomics and bidding was lively on this consignment from Bacon Hill Holsteins, NY. In the end, ABS Global was the successful bidder, with Siemers Holsteins contending.

The second highest seller was lot 5, Tui Cayleah Uno-ET. This August +2368 GTPI Numero Uno is from a VG-87 EX-MS Planet backed by Keystone breeding. She was knocked off at $19,000 to TAL Associates of Lancaster, PA.

ABS Global also purchased the third highest seller of the day, Lot 15, Wind-N-Tail Epc Dizzy-ETS at $17,200. This flush age heifer has no Shottle, Goldwyn, Bolton or Planet in her pedigree! Consigned by Mark & Deborah Pernat, Sloansville, NY, her dam is a VG-85 Form Bret that traces back to the Pen-Col Elevation Destiny family.

The next highest seller was lot 7, a first choice Supersire female from Brandt-View Colby Kimber VG-86, the #1 GTPI Colby at +2163. Kimber is an 8th generation VG or EX and has numerous high offspring. Oakfield Corners Dairy, Oakfield, NY bid last at $15,500 to take home this consignment of Brandt-View Farm, Annville, PA.

Brandt-View Farm, Annville, PA was the successful bidder at $13,400 on lot 3, a first choice Willpower female from a +2302 GTPI Robust backed by 6 generations of VG or EX.
