Sale Results

The California Convention Sale truly was a Carnival Scene, averaging $5139. The sale was hosted at Maddox Dairy in Riverdale, CA, Over 500 guests enjoyed a carnival, games and the generous hospitality of the Maddox family.

Topping the sale was Lot 5, a first choice female from World Dairy Expo Junior Show Supreme Champion Silvermaple Windham Camille EX-92. Consigned by Christian Cunningham and Miles Price, she was struck off for $14,000 to Ken Melvold, Howard Binder & Joanne Evans, CA.
Lot 1, a 12/16 Red Diamondback from KHW Regmnt Apple A2-Red-ET EX-94, captured a top price of $12,500. She was consigned by Frank & Carol Borba, Frank & Diane Borba and Genosource and was purchased by John Cunningham, CA. 
 
The top selling live animal of the sale was Golden-Oaks Sid Creole-ET, consigned by Golden Oaks Farm. Selling for $12,000, she is a 9/16 full sister to the 2015 Junior Champion of WDE. She was purchased by Todd Mason, OK.
 
Lot 2, a 9/15 Doorman from Ms Apple Uno Armana-ET *RC EX-91, sold to Pat Maddox, CA for $9500. The fancy granddaughter of Apple was consigned by Miles, Kanani & Soren Price.

Sale Prevue

The California Holstein Convention Sale takes place this evening at 4pm in Riverdale, CA. Maddox Dairy is hosting the event in conjunction with the convention’s Host Night. Online bidding is available through Cowbuyer.

Lot 12, Golden-Oaks Sid Creole-ET, is a full sister to the 2015 Junior Champion of WDE, Golden-Oaks Sid Charlise. She is a 9/16 Sid from an EX-91 EX-MS Gold Chip from 3E-93 Champ Rae backed by 7 generations of EX Roxys! She is consigned by Golden Oaks Farm.
One of the highest GTPI heifer of the sale is Lot 13, a 8/16 Jedi from a +2699 Yoder x VG-85 Uno x VG-87 Robust x EX-90 Offroad x EX-90 Ito. She carries a +2739 GTPI +2015M +69F +63P +7.7PL +3.0DPR +2.37T. She is consigned by Hilmar Holsteins.
Lot 3, TJR Awesome Adele-Red-ET, is consigned by Joseph Azevedo, and is a 9/16 Awesome-Red from a VG-85 VG-MS 2Y Alchemy sister to EX-96 Apple, backed by 2E-95 Altitude. She is a maternal sister to Blondin TJR Supersire Aroma-ET *RC VG-85, the No. 1 GTPI Red Factor Cow in the World.
From the National Milk & Fat leader is Lot 23, Vanden-Berge E Cutey 529-ET. She’s a 7/16 +2326 GTPI Jedi from a McCutchen dam. Next dam is Ever-Green-View My 1326-ET 2E-92 with 72,170M 3.9F 3.0P. Next 4 dams are all VG or EX GMD. She is consigned by Curtis Vanden Berge.
Sale hosts, Maddox Dairy, is offering a Buyer’s Choice of two 3/16 Doorman heifers. Doorman Jean-62566 is +1957 GTPI +2.50T and D-Man Jean-60274 is +1977 GTPI +2.89T.
