Avalanche Daughter Tops 2019 Oklahoma State Sale at $9,900

The Oklahoma State Sale took place on Friday, April 12th in Stillwater, Oklahoma in conjunction with the Southern National Holstein and Jersey Shows. A nice size crowd was in attendance as 63 lots sold through the sale achieving an unofficial average of $2,283.00.

Top seller on the day at $9900 was Lot 46 – Blondin Avalanche Chelsey-ET, a 9/18 Avalanche daughter out of a GP-82 Doorman dam. Her next dam is Jacobs Jordan Carmel EX-93, the 2016 Reserve All-Canadian Senior 3-Year-Old, and a maternal sister to Robrook Goldwyn Cameron EX-95, twice All-American and three-time All-Canadian.

Another fancy fall calf, Lot 50 was the 2nd high seller at $5,100 – Lin-Crest DB Champagne-Red, a 9/18 Diamondback out of Lin-Crest Malone Crumbs *RC VG-87, then Lin-Crest Barbwire Crackers *RC EX-90, and four more VG & EX dams.

Lot 12 – Wrightvale Aftrshk Pauli-ET VG-86 VG-MS brought $4,500 as the high-selling cow. Fresh again in February as a junior 3-year-old, Pauli was the All-Missouri Junior 2-Year-Old in 2018. Out of Savage-Leigh Party-ET, an EX-93 Goldwyn, Pauli has a VG Gibson 2nd dam, then EX-96 VanDyk-K Integrity Paradise.

At $4,100, Sco-Lo Aval Rosalee 2340-ET rounds out the list of top sellers. A fancy 12/18 Avalanche daughter out of an EX-94 Dundee that was the Reserve Grand Champion at the Grand National Junior Show in 2014, then several more generations of the Dellia family.
