Robella Holsteins is located in Balgonie, Saskatchewan, approximately 30 minutes east of Regina, and owned by the Lindenbach family.
There are 66 cows milked in a tie-stall facility, with 200 head of replacements. All the animals are registered, purebred Holsteins, with the exception of one fancy Jersey cow. The Lindenbach’s breed for long lasting, high type cows that are well balanced, seeking both physical and index conformation.
Notable cow families they are working with include Robella Dundee Eden EX 3*, the dam of Robella Goldwyn Edgeley EX-94 2E who was Reserve Intermediate Champion at the 2015 Royal and All-Canadian Senior 3 that year. Robella Reg Macy EX-94* was nominated All-Canadian 5 Year old in 2013 and is the dam of Robella Sanchez Marabella VG-89 who has a bright future.
Are you a self motivated, reliable individual who loves working with good cows? We are currently seeking a full time permanent employee as well as a fall intern. Robella Holsteins is a 75 cow tie stall facility currently in the process of building a 100 cow robotic free stall barn.
Job requirements include but not limited to milking, calf feeding and care, tractor work including feeding and bedding of livestock. On farm housing is available. Wage will be dependent on experience.
