DeLaval Offers Farm Tours, Insight into Latest Innovations at World Dairy Expo

Continuing a tradition of showcasing the latest dairy innovations, DeLaval is prepared to share their integrated dairy solutions at booths EH 3011-3315 and TM 74, as well as through the Robotics PROductivity Tour at World Dairy Expo, October 2-6 in Madison, WI.

The Robotics PROductivity tour is offered at no cost and provides World Dairy Expo attendees with their only opportunity to see both a rotary with teat spray automation and a robotic dairy on the same tour. It will feature two exemplary farms in the Madison area that are making great use of various robotic technologies: Hildebrandt Farms of South Beloit, IL, and Lohr Dairy of Sauk City, WI. Hildebrandt Farms milks 800 cows with a PR3100HD Parallel Rotary using a Teat Spray Robot TSR. Lohr Dairy recently started milking 190 cows with four Voluntary Milking System VMS™ units.

The bus leaves the World Dairy Expo grounds at 7 AM on October 3rd, and will return by 3:00 PM for an exclusive presentation on the new VMS V300. Space is limited: click here for more information and to register by Friday, September 21st.

“As a global company, we look forward to showcasing our latest innovations at this prestigious, international show each year, both through farm tours and in our displays,” says Fernando Cuccioli, DeLaval Regional President, North America. “As you’ll see in our booth, each of our integrated solutions support our brand promise: ‘We Live Milk.’”

The VMS V300 will be running in both DeLaval booth locations. With a 10 percent higher capacity, up to 50 percent faster attachment time than earlier models, up to 99.8 percent attachment rate, up to 99 percent teat spray hit rate, real quarter milking, and with a potential of up to 7,500 pounds of milk per day, the DeLaval VMS V300 is setting an all new industry performance standard*.

DeLaval InService™ All-Inclusive

DeLaval has also revamped their customer service program to accommodate this significant leap in automatic milking technology. DeLaval InService All-Inclusive customer program provides service, consumables, advisory and everything in between on a contract system. DeLaval InService provides farmers with time to focus on the business of dairy farming with the peace of mind that the system is running at peak performance.

DelPro™ Companion

DeLaval is also preparing to demonstrate the all-new DeLaval DelPro™ Companion at the show. This is a new mobile app that puts full herd management capabilities at your fingertips. Producers in either robotic or conventional milking systems can view cow lists, record data, remotely access their herd’s activities and more. DelPro Companion will be available for both Apple and Android smartphones for use with systems running DelPro 5.3 and later versions.

OptiDuo™

Coming soon to North America is the OptiDuo feed pusher. It doesn’t just push feed; it remixes it, providing fresh, remixed feed to the herd. Remixing the feed makes it more appealing to the cows, and repositioning it avoids compression – translating to higher consumption and more milk produced.

All-new Parallel Parlor

The latest parlor innovation will be released early in 2019. Representing a significant evolution in parallel parlors, DeLaval presents a new approach to moving cows calmly, quickly and efficiently through the milking process. Be among the first to learn more through an exclusive preview at World Dairy Expo.
