World Premier Brown Swiss & Milking Shorthorn Sale 2016

The overall top seller of the sale was Milking Shorthorn Lot 3, Innisfail-Exels JE Lily EXP, the 4th place Spring Calf, her dam was the 2nd place 5 Year Old, Innisfail RU Lady 072 EXP EX91, the 2013 All-American Sr 2 Year Old & 2015 Reserve All-American 4 Year Old, as well as the being the 2nd place 5 Year Old in this years World Dairy Expo Show. She was consigned by Innisfail-Exel Shorthorns, CA, and was purchased by Thert Hensley, IN.

Second high seller, and the top Brown Swiss Lot at $8,000 was Lot  6, Meado-Brook Dreamin Suri-ET, an August 2015 Biver from a VG87 Brookings followed by 9 more generations of EX & VG dams. She was the consignment of Meadow Brook Farm, WI. She was the selection of Bar-M Cattle & Capital Co., CA.

Third high seller was Brown Swiss Lot 10, Fairdale Braiden Wamzo-ET, selling for $7,600. Wamzo was consigned by Ben Sparrow, KY, and is a September 2015 Braiden from a VG87 Supreme daughter of Frosted Sieg Wammy-ET 2E-93, 2x All-American, followed by three generations of EX dams from the Whizzbang family. She sold to Meier Meadows, IL.

Two Brown Swiss lots sold for $7,100 each. Lot 9C was a first choice Supreme, due in December, out of Top Acres Garbro Wanda -ET EX91, the 2014 HM All-American 4 Year Old, followed by four generations of EX dams from the Whizzbang family. The choice was consigned by Cynthia Warner, MD and purchased by Luke Thomas, WI.

The other lot selling for $7,100 was Lot 11 Sun-Made Elite Nugget, a December 2015 Powerplay daughter of Jo-Dee Wonderment Nuclear 2E-92 2x All-American nomination. She was consigned by Ken Main & Peter Vail, NY and was bought by Meier Meadows, IL.

Brown Swiss Lot 3 sold for $5,500. Terra-Rose T Sissy-ET, a March 2016 Thunder daughter of Kulp-Gen Starbuck Shania 4E-94, with five more generations of EX dams. She was the consignment of Arielle Chard, NJ. The partnership of Donald Graft, IN and Jo-Dee Swiss, OR were the buyers.

The second high selling Milking Shorthorn was Lot 1, selling for $5,000. Solid-Gold Patriot Pepsi, the 2015 Reserve All-American Winter Calf. Pepsi is a Patriot daughter of Spungold-R Logic Precious 2E-92, followed by Gold Mine Poppys OT Kay 2E-95. She was consigned by Spencer Michael Wiemer, PA and purchased by the partnership of Taylor Graves, Kaydn Gibson & Dakota Thompson, KY.
