The World Classic 2016 was held October 7th in Madison, WI during the World Dairy Expo. The sale averaged $31,002 on 44 Lots and grossed $1,364,100. Buyers from 13 states, 2 Canadian provinces and 3 countries availed themselves of opportunities offered in this premier sale.

Top seller in the sale at $270,000 was Lot 10, consigned by Matthew Steiner of Pine Tree Dairy, OH. OCD Supersire 9882-ET VG85 is a +2701GTPI +3039GLPI +847NM$ Supersire daughter of OCD Robust Shimmer-ET EX90-DOM. She was purchased by the partnership of Triple Crown Genetics, ID; Genosource, IA and Jerry Jorgensen, MI.

Second high seller at $74,000 was Lot 12, Kings-Ransom Mod Destiny-ET. She is a +2749GTPI  +936NM$  +3460GLPI June 2016 Modesty from a +2556GTPI Reflector out of a VG88AltaIota, followed by 8 more generations of EX & VG dams. She was consigned by Kings Ransom Farm, NY and purchased by Select Sires Inc., OH.

Third high seller at $68,000 was Lot 18. No-Fla Montross 42173-ET is a +2715GTPI +832NM$ September 2015 Montross from a GP83 +2505GTPI Supersire followed by two more VG dams. She was consigned by North Florida Holsteins, FL and puchased by Triple Crown Genetics, ID.

Lot 15 brought $56,000 to be the fourth high selling individual of the evening. L-L-M-Dairy Jedi Dysis is a +2772GTPI June 2016 Jedi from a VG85 Butler with four more generations of VG dams. She was the consignment of L-L-M-Dairy, WI and purchased by Abel Villalpando, NM.

Rounding out the top five high sellers at $55,000 is Lot 14, Saintville Silver Lisa. Lisa is the #9GTPI Silver daughter at +2760GTPI and +3278GLPI. She is out of a GP83 AltaOak from an EX90 AltaIota, with four more generations of EX & VG dams. She was consigned by Richard Haler, MN and purchased by PEAK Genetics, WI.
