Bluegrass Excitations Cyclamen is named Champion! See results and photos

The Jersey champion, Bluegrass Excitations Cyclamen, was described by judge, James Waring, as ‘the most well balanced cow I have seen in recent times. It has a tremendously well attached udder with exceptional height and width.’

The third calver, by Bridon Excitation, owned by Barry and Jenny Daw, Hertford Heath, has been calved just over a month and is giving 38kg. She was reserve breed champion at the event last year and a winner at the South West dairy show.

The Future Dreams Partnership of James and Barrie Evans, Narberth, Pembrokeshire, were reserve with Future Dreams Excitations Blossom, winner of the heifer in-milk class. Giving 28kg at the moment, she is projection to give 7,000kg in her first lactation.
