Splash in the Ocean at Sunset Canyon 2016

The Splash in the Ocean at Sunset Canyon 2016 was held on Saturday July 16^th  at the farm in Beaver, OR.  The sale averaged $6,249 on 107 lots and was managed by Avonlea Genetics.

Top seller in the sale was the first choice of three heifers offered in Lot 1. Lot 1A was selected as the first choice at $50,000. Sunset Canyon Dimension M Maid is the #12 GJPI heifer of the breed at +222GJPI, a February 2016 Dimension from a VG85 Machete from the Maid family. She was consigned by Eric Silva, OR.

Second high seller was the second choice of the three heifers in Lot 1. Selected for $40,000 was Sunset Canyon Volcano A Daffy-ET, #9GJPI heifer of the breed at +225GJPI, a July 2015 Volcano from a VG88 Allstar daughter of Impuls Daffy EX90. She was also consigned by Eric Silva, OR.

The third high seller at $25,000 was Lot 86. Arethusa HG Vivica-ET is a Hired Gun Senior 2 Year Old, fresh in March and due back to sexed Showdown in February, from an EX93 Socrates out of an EX91 Deluxe daughter of Veronica. She was consigned by Arethusa Farm, CT.
