The Quest for Success II was held Friday March 27th in Marion, WI before a full-house crowd. The sale, hosted by Bella-View Holsteins and Ryan-Vu Holsteins, averaged $8406 on 100 live lots. The Great Northern Land and Cattle Company assisted with management.

The Quest for Success II was held Friday March 27th in Marion, WI before a full-house crowd. The sale, hosted by Bella-View Holsteins and Ryan-Vu Holsteins, averaged $8406 on 100 live lots. The Great Northern Land and Cattle Company assisted with management. Chris Hill took care of calling the sale, with Norman Nabholz handling the announcements from the box.

High Seller-Lot G1 L-L-M-Dairy Troy Precision

Garnering the high price for the day was Lot G1, bringing $37,500. This December 2014 +2589GTPI River-Bridge Co-op Troy is out of a +2344 VG85 Supersire, with second dam being a VG87 Jet Stream. Precision was consigned by L-L-M Dairy of Ringle, WI and purchased by Select Sires of Plain City, OH.

 

Second High Seller Synergy Tango Petrisse

 Bring $32,000 to be the second high seller was Lot G4, Synergy Tango Petrisse. Petrisse is a July 2014 Mr Welcome Hill Tango at +2534GTPI. Her dam is a VG 87 Mr Regelcreek Shot Alan, with the second dam being an EX91-DOM Planet, followed by nine more generations of EX and VG cows. Petrisse was found a new home with Brad & Wendy Fust of Wausau, WI and was consigned by Synergy Dairy of Pulaski, WI.

A VG88 Advent Senior 3 Year Old for 2015 from Budjon Rubens Annette EX94-2E. Alison was nominated R&W All-American as a Senior 2 Year Old in 2014 and was the Unanimous R&W All-American Fall Yearling in 2013 and was nominated as a Fall Calf in 2012.

A Junior 2 Year Old prospect for 2015, Clover is due in June to Armani. She is a Heztry out of a VG85 Advent, followed by three more EX dams. Clover was the 2014 Unanimous R&W All-American Spring Yearling.

A December 2013 Pine-Shelter Clay Wood daughter of Tri-Day Ashlynn-ET EX96-2E-GMD-DOM. She was the 2014 Reserve Calf Champion at the WI Junior State Fair.
