Minnesota Holstein Spring Special Sale 2014

The Minnesota Holstein Spring Special sale was held on Saturday, April 12 2014 at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds in Rochester. The sale averaged $2,773.60 on 123 live lots and two choices. The online & onsite embryo auction averaged $258/ embryo over five embryo lots.

Two lots topped the sale at $6000 – lot 8 and 51.

1. Lot 8 – Larcrest Cion, $6000
(a 7/13 +2329 GTPI Predestine heifer out of Larcrest Cordial the #1 Type cow in the breed.  Her grand dam is Larcrest Crimson-ET EX-92 2E who has been contracted for bulls and embryos worldwide!)

1. Lot 51 – Melarry Dandi Dally-Red $6000
(a 12/13 Dandi heifer, she comes from the same family as Melarry Advent Dutch-Red the 2012 Reserve All American R&W Fall Yearling in Milk)

2. Lot 43 – Heritage-E Debbies Dance-ET $5000
(a 03/12 Shamrock heifer out of the Adeen’s.  She’s due to Windbrook in June)

(a 09/13 Redburst going right back to the Renita Rangers! Her dam, Jerland Rubens Nan-Red EX-93 was the Unanimous All American Aged Cow in 2010).
