The Midwest Spring Special Jersey Sale 2017 was held March 24th in Rochester, MN. The sale averaged over $3,300.
The top seller at $22,500 was Lot 8, Discoverys Hired Jynx, the 2015 ABA All-American Summer Yearling. This Junior 3 Year Old was fresh in December and sold open. She is a Hired Gun from an EX90 full sister to 3x All-American Discoverys Tequila Jewelene, the 2014 Jersey Jug Winner. Jynx was consigned by Cole, Mazzaro & Sharp, OH and purchased the Arnie & Kris Gruenes & family, MN.
The second high price of the day was $18,000 for Lot 20, Woodmohr Gentry Gin-ET, a Spring Yearling Gentry from an EX93 Jade daughter of Llolyn Jude Griffen EX95. She was consigned by Woodmohr Jerseys, WI.
Lot 37 was the third high selling lot at $7,000. JX TLJ Eusebio Breeze {5} is a September 2016 +220GJPI Eusebio from a Barnabas. She was the consignment of Travis Lehnertz, MN.
Lot 18 sold for $6,800. Budjon-Vail Tequila Gabanna-ET VG87 is a Tequila daughter of Llolyn Jude Griffen EX95. She was consigned by Peter Vail & Budjon Farms, WI.
Lot 1, a choice of four full sister to 2016 ABA All-American Edgebrook Teuqila Madison, commanded the price of $6,500 to be the fifth high selling lot. The choice was consigned by Myron Arthur, IA.
Lot 6 sold for $5,500. JX Schoene KUH Marlo Ninja {3}-ET is an August +217GJPI Marlo from a Nitro daughter of D&E Paramount Violet EX90. She was consigned by Staci Sexton, MN.
Lot 14 sold for $5,100, Lookout Gunning For Fame, is a recently fresh Gunman Senior 2 Year Old from a VG87 Regan daughter of Marlau Comerica Fabienne EX94, the winning Milking Yearling from the 2011 WDE & Royal Winter Fair. She was consigned by Eva Doornink, WI.
