The Legacy Showcase Schaufine Holsteins Complete Dispersal 2016 took place on Friday December 3rd at the farm in Greenville, IL. The unofficial sale average was $3073 on 212 head.
Topping the sale was Lot 8, selling for $21,000. Schaufine Atwd Mystique-ET VG88 was the winner of the IL State 2 Year Old Holstein Futurity this past summer. She is an Atwood out of a VG88 Damion followed by an EX90 Stanhope Sovereign.
Second high seller for the day was Schaufine G W Atwood Lala EX92, selling for $12,000. Lala was the Reserve Intermediate Champion at the 2016 Illinois State Fair. She is an Atwood out of a VG85 Sanchez, followed by an EX90 Raider and then Mansion Valley Lynda EX94, with three more generations of VG dams.
The third high seller sold for $10,600. Lot 202 was Schaufine Sanchez Riley-ET EX90, a Sanchez from an EX Roy and then an EX Durham.
Lot 201 sold for $6,800 to be the fourth high seller. Schaufine Aftershock Rapunzel is a March 2015 Aftershock, due in April to Gold Chip. She is out of an EX91 Sanchez from an EX Roy and then an EX Durham.
Rounding out the top five high sellers was Lot 20, selling for $6,700. Schaufine BMR Poinsetta-ET, a December 2015 Beemer out of an EX90 Atwood, followed by an EX92-GMD-DOM, then EX95-3E-GMD-DOM 2007 Unanimous All-American Windy-Knoll-View Pledge, the EX95-2E-GMD-DOM Promis and EX94-3E Pala.
