Harvest Royal Brown Swiss Sale 2016

The Harvest Royal Brown Swiss Sale 2016 took place on Saturday December 3rd in Elkhorn, WI. The sale averaged $2,768 on 62 head. Cattle sold to 34 buyers, representing 9 states. The sale was managed by Brown Swiss Sale Service LLC.

Top seller of the day was Lot 1, bringing $7,10. Riedland Lebron Floral VG88 is a recently fresh Lebron from a 2E91 Faust followed by five generations of EX dams from the Kruses GJ Jade Fantasy Vix family. She was consigned by Dan & Angie Rieder, WI and purchased by Blessing Farm & Rex Mort, IN.

Two lots tied for the second high price of the day, each bringing $3,700. One of these was Lot 24, Lee-Anns Braiden Patrone, a recently fresh Junior 2 Year Old Braiden from a 2E90 Pilot Smith with a 2E90 second dam and then two VG dams. She was the consignment of Lee-Ann Swiss, IA and was purchased by Joyce Uglow, WI.

Also selling for $3,700 was Lot 34, Double W Cadence Mooly, a Junior 2 Year Old Cadence from a VG85 Moondog. She was consigned by Double W Dairy, CO and purchased by Marisa Hawley & Juliet Albrecht, WI.

The third high price was $3,650, paid for Lot 44. Double W Deputy Orchid is a Junior 2 Year Old Deputy from a VG86 Corky, and was consigned by Double W Dairy, CO and purchased by Udder Confusion Dairy, IL.

Two lots also sold for $3,600. Lot 33 was also a consignment of Double W Dairy in CO, and was purchased by Joyce Uglow, WI. Double W Cadence Missy is a Junior 2 Year Old Cadence from a VG86 Corky followed by six generations of EX dams.

Lot 40 was the other lot selling for $3,600. Another consignment of Double W Dairy, CO, Double W Faust Linda Lou is a Faust Junior 2 Year Old from a VG87 Grandslam, and was purchased by Udder Confusion Dairy, IL.

Lot 41, Double W Chilli Pepper Lullaby, sold for $3,500. She is a Chilli Pepper from a Brookings, and was consigned by Double W Dairy, CO and purchased by Rick Kruse, IA.
