First Ever Supreme Champion Heifer Chosen at the All American
DATE: September 19, 2012
LOCATION: Harrisburg, PA

For the first time in the 49 year history of the All American, a Supreme Champion Heifer was chosen. All of the heifer champions are exceptional in dairyness, combined with strength and size and offered the judges a challenge in making their selection. The winner is the Junior Champion Holstein, MD-Dun-Loafin Lauth Ellie, exhibited by Michael Heath and David Dyment of Maryland and Ontario. Heath saw the calf after the March Madness Sale and purchased her from Aaron Eaton in hopes that she would continue to develop for the Royal Winter Fair as he and his co-owner will be officiating at Madison. Ellie is exceptional in her extreme dairyness, length throughout and wide, flat rump. She was presented in the ring today by Aaron Eaton, who also boards her at his showbarn.
