Fall For Colors Limited Edition Sale 2016

The Fall For Colors Limited Edition Sale 2016 took place Saturday, October 22nd in the New Holland Pavilion #1 at the Alliant Energy Center.

Averages for each of the four breeds included $3,600 on 13 head of Jerseys; $3,551.73 on 29 head of Guernseys; $3,307.70 on 13 head of Brown Swiss; while 10 head of Milking Shorthorns averaged $1,625.

The overall top seller was the high selling Brown Swiss, Lot 1, Top Acres HP Braiden Wiz-ET, a full sister to the WDE Reserve Junior Champion, selling for $7,500. Consigned by Wayne Sliker & Hillpoint Partners, OH, Wiz is a March 2016 Braiden out of Top Acres Supreme Wizard-ET 2E-93, the 2013 All-American Senior 3 Year old and a 3x Reserve All-American. She is followed by three more generations of the EX dams from the prolific Whizzbang family. Wiz was purchased by Jason Meier, IL.

The second high seller of the sale was the top selling Guernsey, Lot 34, bringing $7,400. Millborne HP Alymo Finally-ETV is a March 2016 Alymo daughter of Millborne Hillpoint S Fiesta-ET EX92. Fiesta is a 2x Unanimous All-American in milking form, as well as having another All-American, a Reserve and an HM title to her credit. She is a Spider daughter from an EX92 Tiller followed by R Way Royal Oak Faye EX94 a 2x All-American herself. Finally was consigned by Miller, Hellenbrand & Vail, CT and purchased by the Finally Syndicate, CT.

Lot 23 was the third high seller at $7,000. HP AC GG Kringle Morisa-ET was the 4th place Winter Yearling at the World Dairy Expo and was nominated All-American Winter Calf in 2015. She is a Kringle daughter of Adams Creek Hillpoint Marsha-ET EX94, a 2x Unanimous All-American in milking form, with another All-American Title, as well as a a Reserve and HM title to her credit. She is a Tiller daughter of Marshdene Magic Mary EX94, the 2004 All-American 4 Year Old, and a 2x Reserve All-American. Moira was consigned by Adams Creek Farm, Daniel Basse & Hillpoint Partners, WI. Benjamin Kronberg and Kate Nutttleman, WI purchased Morissa.

The top selling Jersey at $6,200 was Lot 51, River Valley Soverreign Joy 1574-ET +15.4JUI. Joy is a BW Sovereign daughter of the 2014 ABA Unanimous All-American Lifetime Production Cow Fermar Paramount Joy EX95. Sovereign Joy is a maternal sister to Guimo Joel  at Semex, as well as several top-ranking LPI sisters in Canada. Her second dam is Early Rise First Prize Jessie SUP EX92-8E. Sovereign Joy was consigned by River Valley Farm, IL and purchased by Summer Parreira, CA.

Two lots tied for fifth high seller, each bringing $6,000. Lot 7, Cutting Edge B Tallia ETV is a December 2015 Biver daughter of Dublin Hills Treats 2E-94 2x All-American, followed by four more generations of EX & VG dams. Tallia was consigned by Ken Main, Peter Vail & Hillpoint Partners, NY. Tony Moreno, Columbia was the successful purchaser.

Also selling for $6,000 was Lot 38 HP SH AC Pie Kamryn ETV, a June 2016 American Pie daughter of Chupps Hillpoint Gdust Kristy-ET EX91, a full sister to Kringle. She is a Goldust daughter of Cedar Way Vilter Kortney VG87, HM All-American Senior 2 Year Old in 2006 & nominated All-American as a Winter Yearling in 2005. Kamryn was consigned by City Slickers, Adams Creek & Snider Homestead Farm, PA and was purchased by Morey Miller, CT.

The top selling Milking Shorthorn was Lot 64, selling for $3,800. Elite HP Prem Fire Back-ET is a June 2015 Premium daughter of HC-HP Red Rob Fireball EXP-ET EX90, a Red Robin daughter of Sunshine Now You See Fireball 2E-90, 2x Reserve All-American. Fire Back was consigned by Peter Vail & Hillpoint Partners, NY and purchased by Kenna Kirsnis, WI.

Other highlights selling for over $5,000 included:
Lot 15…sold for $5,500…a September 2014 Kringle due in December to Fame, out of Sniders Yogi Anise-ET EX92 2012 Reserve All-American Senior 2 Year Old, followed by Cedar Fringed Altann EX95 2000 All-American 4 Year Old.

Lot 52B…sold for $5,200…a June 2016 Verbatim daughter of Schulte Bros Tequila Shot-ET EX91 2x All-American, followed by an EX92 Deluxe.

Lot 19…sold for $5,000…a June 2016 Lone Star daughter of Sniders Garrett Ashanti-ET EX93 2014 All-American Aged Cow, followed by Sniders Ben Aliyah EX93 and then Cedar Fringed Altann EX95.
