The Esperanza Extravaganza 2016 was held Friday September 23rd in West Union, IA and averaged $2,750.
Topping the sale at $9,500 was Lot 9, Esperanza-CC LD Shakira-Red VG88. Shakira was the 2016 All-MN R&W Junior 3 Year Old, and also won the class at the MN State Fair R&W Show. She is a Ladd-P from an EX90 Contender out of a VG85 Jet-Red.
Second high seller at $8,500 was Lot 43, Esperanza-CC Tess, the 2016 All-Minnesota Winter Calf. Tess is a December Sid from a VG86 Windbrook followed by an EX92 Goldwyn from the C Alanvale Inspiration Tina EX95-2E-GMD-DOM family.
Third high seller was Lot 44, selling for $7,750. Lichty Acres Htry Fire-Red VG85 was the 2016 All-MN R&W Junior 2 Year Old, and is a Heztry from a VG85 Resurrect-Red out of a VG86 Advent.
Lot 10 sold for $5,600 to be the fourth high seller. Esperanza-CC Shareece-Red is an April 2016 Heztry daughter of the top seller, Esperanza-CC LD Shakira-Red VG88. Shakira was the 2016 All-MN R&W Junior 3 Year Old, and also won the class at the MN State Fair R&W Show.
Rounding out the top five sellers at $5,500 was Lot 28, Esperanza-CC Alexander Snip, a VG87 Alexander from a VG85 Shotgun followed by a GP83 Laurin and then three generations of VG & EX dams.
