The Changing of the Guard at Holbric 2016 took place May 28th at the farm in Harvard, IL with an official sale average of $3,309. The sale was managed by Courtney Sales, LLC.
The top seller of the day was Lot J62, selling for $7,600. Snafu Holbric AJ Darcy is a potential 17th generation EX, a September 2015 Applejack from an EX92 T-Bone from an EX92 Comerica. She was purchased by Stanford, Burdette & Fremstad, WI.
Two lots tied for the second high seller of the day at $6,900, including Lot 2, Holbric Dickey Analee-ET, the Jr All-Illinois Spring Calf in 2015. Analee is a March 2015 Dickey from an EX93 Destry followed by an EX94 Genuine followed by seven more generations of VG & EX dams.
Also selling for $6,900 was Lot 92 Lot 92, Holbric Windbrook Allstar. Allstar is a Windbrook Senior 2 Year Old from a VG87 Damion followed by an EX94-5E-DOM Leadman and three more EX dams.
