The Global Impact Sale 2016 took place May 10th at Lardner Park in Victoria, Australia.

The sale averaged $5,822 on 51 lots overall, including embryos and bulls. Forty-one lots of Holstein heifers averaged $5,578 while five Jersey heifers averaged $9,600.

Buyers came from all over Australia to witness the second Global Impact Sale with heifers selling to most states of Australia, New Zealand and also the U.S.

The top selling lot was 5A, Lightning Ridge Armani Licorice *Red, an Armani from a VG Gold Chip daughter of RockyMountain Talent Licorice EX95. She was consigned by Declan Patten and purchased by Brad Salmon for $19,000.

Two lots tied for second high seller at $15,000. Lot 1, Lightning Ridge Bradnick Camomile, is a Bradnick daugher of Silvermaple Damion Camomile EX95. She was consigned  by Declan Patten and purchased by N&B Peck.

The other lot selling for $15,000 was the top Jersey, Lot 28, Runway Minister Venus, a Select-Scott Minister daughter of Stephen Sparkler Vera EX95, and a full sister to the 2014 WDE Supreme Champion TJ Classic Minister Venus EX94. She was consigned by Bradley Cullen and purchased by E Patten (AUS), S&B Rapley (NZ) and the F, C, A, J, H & L Borba (US).

Rounding out the top three high prices for the sale was Lot 27, Burnvale Windbrook Toni selling for $13,000. She is a Windbrook daughter of Tahora Goldwyn Toni EX and was consigned by R&L Blackburn and purchased by Hill Valley Holsteins.
