WELLINGTON JERSEY YOUNG STOCK DISPERSAL

The Stamper family who farm at Wellington Farm, Cockermouth dispersed their pedigree milking Jerseys earlier this summer and after much reflection decoded to disperse the remaining  young-stock following the Gold Top Jersey Sale.

The heifers on offer were well grown and displayed lots of potential, some of the best genetics had been used to develop the herd since it was established back in 2002.  Top price went to Wellington Legal Rowen, she was sired by Tollenaars Impuls Legal and sold in calf to DJ Zuma (sexed) for 1,150gns to   JR&G Forster, Brackenthwaite Farm, Brampton.
