The 2014 Bluechip sale finished out with a $6900 average and a top price of $22,000 for Bluechip Sid Madison (offered by Bluechip and Ferme Blondin). She was bought by Anthony Peatling, Toolamba. It was the first time Bluechip had offered solely heifers and the average held up throughout the sale. Auctioneer Brian Leslie kept things moving. As always, it takes a village to pull these days together.  Everyone of our team pitched in with talent and diligence. Within this super team and a fantastic group of co-vendors, there was Scott Robinson, who is there every day giving 150%. We couldn’t have done it without him and he and his wife, Pip (who stands behind him relentlessly) put up an exceptional offering. Simon Tognola’s sense of humour, ability with the clippers and care for the cattle was fabulous; Andy Cullen’s exceptional skill, talent, leadership and integrity will take him a long way in this industry and Brad Cullen who did all the video work and signs and then found time to help with the cattle was also one of the backbones of this effort. If anyone is planning a sale these guys are just an amazing group of young people that the Australian industry should be proud to call its own. To our Kiwi partners/family Brent Crothers and Dean Geddes (Tahora), it is always a pleasure to have you and Deano brings something special everytime (perhaps next time we might leave the table sliding out though :)) To our longest serving partner, Ross Dobson, you are just an incredible part of our lives and such a support. We also thank the buyers who make sharing these genetics possible and we wish everyone continued success with their purchases. Thank you once again….the sale summary and press release will be posted today.  – Bluechip Genetics Facebook Page
