Heatherstone Enterprises Inc. is owned and operated by Mike and Valerie Holschbach and family. The farm was established in 1960 by Valerie’s parents, Duane & Jean Hegna. The farm is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, USA which is situated in the upper Midwest. They are a short 10-minute drive from Wisconsin Dells and are less than an hour drive from the World Dairy Expo grounds.
Their Registered Holstein farm is home to 125 milk cows, with an equal number of young stock. They focus their breeding program around high components, type and longevity. Heatherstone Enterprises Inc., is one of Wisconsin’s highest Fat% and Protein% herds. They boast a RHA over 28,000M, 4.3%F and 3.2%P on 2x/day milking. They average an annual SCC of 70,000. The sires they focus their breeding program around are King Doc, House, Crushabull and Avalanche.
Their featured red cow family is anchored by Heatherstone Razzy-Red EX-91 2E. She has produced some show winning daughters such as Heatherstone Redhot-Red, who was a 4-time class winner, Junior Champion and two-time Intermediate Champion at the World Dairy Expo. Another exceptional Razzy daughter is Heatherstone Rhinestone-Red EX-94, who was nominated All-American in 2015 and 2017 and went on to be undefeated in her class in 2018.

Mike Holschbach was awarded the 2018 AC Thompson Award at this years World Dairy Expo. Heatherstone Rhinestone ET placed 5th overall Five year old in the Red and White class at the 2018 World Dairy Expo. Heatherstone Enterprises Inc., will be dispersing their herd on April 13, 2019.
