Ferme Rolandale is located 45 minutes southwest of Quebec City and is home to the Jolibois herd, one of the highest scoring herds in Canada. The farm is owned by Rolland Dubois, in partnership with his son Marc-André, and they milk approximately 55 cows in a tiestall facility.
The Dubois family has developed one of Canada’s most respected Red & White cow families, the “Feather” family. Progeny of Dal-Star-RL Feather-Red VG-88 13* have produced several All-Canadian nominations and show ring successes for Rolandale. The farm was also home to 2010 Holstein Canada Cow of the Year – Lindenoord Rudolph Lilac EX-96 3E 14*. There are always embryos, heifers and fresh cows available for sale!
Ferme Rolandale has updated their Facebook page with their recent classification results. They received 6 new Ex cows and 5 new VG 2yr olds. They had a successful time at the 2018 Royal Agriculture Winter Fair, bringing home the R&W Junior Exhibitor Banner and the R&W Overall Breeder and Exhibitor banners.
