The CTPI Sale 2nd edition in Lebanon, PA garnered a great crowd. The line-up feature top numbers and indexes from a breadth of families.
The sale, co-managed by Landis Marketing and Daniel Brandt averaged $4,718 on 60 lots, not including the semen and embryos. Highlights include:
- Topping the sale was Lot 1 at $28,000 was a 1st choice Domain from Kevrel Shottle May-ET VG-89. May is the #6 GTPI cow of the breed at +2316. This consignment of Leaderwin Holsteins went to David Clayton of Indiana with Regancrest contending.
- $19,000 was the highest selling live lot, for #11 GTPI Sanchez heifer. Her dam is a VG-88 Modest, then EX-95 Pledge.
- Lot 3 (1st choice Freddie out of Hammer-Creek G Kristina-ET) sold for $15,500
- Lot 4 (Winning-Way Mattie, a Mac daughter with contracts) sold for $10,500.
- Lot 2 (choice out of Leaderwin Jeves Mace) sold for $10,500.
