University of Sydney Dairy Research Foundation’s 2013 Symposium
May 31, 2013

The Dairy Research Foundation has taken the decision to relocate its 2013 Symposium to Kiama. This year’s event will take place on July 4 and 5  and will once again collaborate with DairyNSW in order to back on to NSW dairy industry meetings scheduled for Kiama on July 3.

Day 1 of the Symposium and the Symposium dinner that evening will take place at the Kiama Pavilion, while Day 2 of the event, which incorporates the Emerging Dairy Scientists’ program, will take the format of farm tours, visiting the Strong family’s CloverHill Dairies at Jamberoo and John and Andrea Henry’s robotic dairy at Nowra.

The foundation’s director Associate Professor Yani Garcia has appointed Dr Kendra Kerrisk as chair of the programming committee, while specialist agricultural events consultant Esther Price Promotions will manage the event.

Registrations for the 2013 forum are now open.
