Proven GTPI Standouts Lead Select Sires Graduates

PLAIN CITY, Ohio – New graduates, 7HO11525 Mr OCD Robust DONATELLO-ET (+2537 GTPI®), 7HO11419 Seagull-Bay HEADLINER-ET (VG-85) (+2531 GPTI) and 7HO11585 Sandy-Valley STERLING-ET (+2524 GTPI) not only top this graduating class, but the breed as the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 GTPI proven sires according to Holstein Association USA’s High Ranking Sire Report.

GTPI and Production Powerhouses

DONATELLO transmits exceptional production (+1,330 Milk), Combined Fat and Protein (CFP) (+133) and components (+0.11%F, +0.04%P). He boasts impressive Net Merit (NM$) (+775), Cheese Merit (CM$) (+795), Productive Life (PL) (+6.9) and Sire Conception Rate (SCR) (+2.0). DONATELLO is a Calving Ease (6.1%DBH), HealthMark™ and FeedPRO® sire with gender SELECTed™ semen available.

HEADLINER, a full brother to GTPI chart-topper, 7HO11351 Seagull-Bay SUPERSIRE-ET (VG-87), is a balanced sire transmitting exceptional Milk (+1,844), CFP (+138), NM$ (+677) as well as pleasing Type (+2.21 PTAT), Udder Composite (UDC) (+1.64) and Feet and Leg Composite (FLC) (+1.36) with a solid SCR of +2.7. A FeedPRO sire, his daughters are long-living cows (+4.7 PL) that are moderate in stature with width and strength.

A 7HO10524 Roylane Socra ROBUST-ET (VG-88-GM) son, STERLING is the No. 2 Select sire for Milk (+2,113) and Protein (+66) and near the top for CFP (+129), NM$ (+705) and CM$ (+704). 7HO11524 Mr OCD Robust DANTE-ET, DONATELLO’s full brother, is a top-15 GTPI sire at +2399 and has exceptional NM$ (+720) and CM$ (+726). His moderately sized daughters produce high volumes of Milk (+1,533) and components (+123 CFP). DANTE is the top new graduate for PL (+7.1) and boasts a solid Daughter Pregnancy Rate (DPR) (+1.0). He is a FeedPRO and Calving Ease (6.9%DBH) sire.

A 7HO10606 De-Su OBSERVER-ET (EX-90-GM) son, 7HO11487 Sandy-Valley THOR-ET is another total performance sire at +2213 GTPI, +475 NM$ and +468 CM$. His daughters are medium-sized, dairy cows with outstanding udder attachments (+2.18 UDC) and Type (+1.96). As a HealthMark sire he carries a +6.4 PL, +1.2 DPR and 2.82 SCS. THOR is a FeedPRO and Calving Ease (5.9%DBH) sire.

7HO11424 Clear-Echo Observr OFFIE-ET, is from the same maternal line as 7HO10721 De-Su 521 BOOKEM-ET (VG-86-GM) and 7HO12105 S-S-I Mogul REFLECTOR. A FeedPRO sire, he transmits excellent production (+1,429M), Protein (+38) and UDC (+1.88) with moderate stature. OFFIE daughters are long-living cows (+6.3 PL) that produce high quality milk (2.74 SCS). He is a Calving Ease sire at 7.3%DBH.

7HO11451 Springhill-OH Iron JIM-ET is an OBSERVER son from an Excellent (90) FBI dam who is a maternal sister to 7HO10709 Springhill-OH Iron HUSKY-ET. He transmits exceptional Type (+2.40) and UDC (+2.60) and sound fitness traits (2.87 SCS, +3.0 PL, +0.7 DPR) which earns him the HealthMark designation. He is a Calving Ease sire at 7.2%DBH.
