Louise-Hartley-IMG_1256Louise Hartley passed away July 1st at the far too young age of 24. She was diagnosed in March with a very rare and aggressive form of Ovarian cancer.

Louise was a Livestock reporter for the Farmers Guardian newspaper.

She has been a very active member of the Young Farmers Federation in her Clitheroe Club for many years, competing in all sorts of events right up to national level.

Louise-Hartely-IMG_1249With such a brilliant personality and can do attitude Louise will be missed by so many. She met everyone with a beautiful smile and warm welcome. Louise had the ability to talk to anyone and everyone, leaving an impression wherever she went. This has been reflected in the fundraising done on such a huge level to help with her treatments, and today on the overwhelming amount of support shown on Facebook alone.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her Family at this sad time, may she be at peace now. We hope they will find some solace in the words being posted by so so many lucky friends and acquaintances who are privileged to have known her.

The Family have asked for some space over the next few days and they will inform people of funeral arrangements in due course.
