Extreme Electra Passes Away

Extreme Electra EX95 passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at nearly 14 1/2 years of age, at Triple-T Holsteins & Jersey in North Lewisburg, OH.

Extreme Electra Passes AwayElectra was born September 23, 2002 and was bred by Rider Jerseys, Upton, KY. Sired by Piedmont Nadine Extreme, she is out of an EX91 Patrick. Electra has established herself as a brood cow in her own right, having six Excellent daughters and five more scored VG85-89, as well as four Excellent granddaughters, and fourteen scoring VG86-89.

Electra was no stranger to the show ring, becoming a household name. She garnered numerous championship banners, as well as All-American and All-Canadian titles and nominations. Her show career was impressive, and she went undefeated in the Senior 3 Year Old class in 2006, capping the year off being named the Reserve National Champion. She last graced the colored shavings in 2013 at the age of eleven years, winning the 100,000LB Cow Class and being named HM Grand Champion at the World Dairy Expo.
