July 20, 2016

Dairy producers planning to attend this year’s World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis., will have the opportunity to visit three of the country’s most progressive robotic dairies in a one-day tour organized by DeLaval.
“If you’re coming to World Dairy Expo, and thinking about switching to robots, you will not want to miss this VMS PROductivity Tour,” said Francisco Rodriguez, Marketing Manager, Automatic Milking Systems and Feeding. “We will show dairy producers how the latest technology from DeLaval can help them increase their productivity, take better care of their cows and sustain their way of life.”

As a leader in dairy innovation, DeLaval will take visitors to farms where state-of-the-art solutions meet progressive herd managers. In addition to seeing technology like DeLaval Voluntary Milking System (VMS™), Herd Navigator, Feed Pushers, Automatic Calf Feeders and DelPro Herd Management software, participants will learn about different cow traffic strategies and freestall barn designs while visiting with highly productive robotic producers.

The VMS PROductivity Tour during World Dairy Expo is scheduled for Oct. 5, and will leave from the Alliant Energy Center at 7:30 a.m. and return by 5:00 p.m. The tour is limited to 40 participants.
