Recognised as one of the top 3 shows in the world, the Swiss Expo will take place in Lausanne this week, between Thursday 12th and Sunday 15th January.
Ruegruet Holsteins and GS Alliance, two of Switzerland’s top breeders, have this year joined forces to host an on-line embryo auction, which runs throughout the Swiss Expo. Breeders from across the globe have the opportunity to purchase world class pedigrees and top genetics which represent some of the best cow families of the Holstein (including Red & White) and Brown Swiss breeds.
Bids can either be placed on-line or by visiting the Ruegruet and GS Alliance show string which is situated in Hall 16 in Lausanne. Bids are updated on a daily basis at 21.00 hrs (Swiss time) and the auction will close on Sunday 15th January.

For connoisseurs of type, there really is no better opportunity to purchase embryos. The on-line Embryo auction features consignments from some of Europe’s leading show ladies, including 5 lots from dams who have won highly competitive classes at previous editions of the Swiss Expo!
