Jersey Canada is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Purina All Canadian Contest! Nominees in each category were selected in December and judging took place over the last few weeks by judges who also judged All-Canadian qualifying shows throughout 2011.

The Champion Cow of the 2011 Purina All Canadian Contest is L’Ormiere Fusion Christine, bred by Ferme L’Ormiere, Saint Justin, QC. and owned by River Valley Dairy, Tremont, IL. Christine was the Grand Champion at the 2011 National Jersey Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

The Champion Heifer of the 2011 Purina All Canadian Contest is Walkerbrae Comerica Nina, bred and owned by Walkerbrae Farms, Guelph, ON. Nina was the Junior Champion at the 2011 National Jersey Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
