Judge McKinvens comments:

It is always nice to judge a show nice quality show all the way through.  These 5 heifers are all well balanced. The Senior Calf is extremely tall, angular with a long neck. She has presense in the ring and is a hard topped, heifer that has alot of things going for her eventhough she is carrying some extra weight today. The Smmer yearling, is a heifer with so much balance, rib structure and quality maybe lacks abit of snap when you see her from across the ring but she has really good parts when you put them altogether.  Junior yearling has a beautiful feet and legs, alot of style, good set of feet and legs, alot of balance, angularilty size status over all package. The Senior yearling a November heifer has the same kind of frame, depth of rib and spring and width, like her for her overall makeup.

For Junior Champion today I can't get by this february heifer. I really admire her all the way through. She has quality and balance and a little more angularity and dairyness then the senior calf. The Senior calf has abit more width of pin then the Senior yearling for her age.

For Supreme Junior champion we have the B&W Junior Champion, for me she has all the parts and yet has the maturity for her age to go with it.

When you get these cows out here the 5 Year old shows alot of quality dairyness and frame throughout so much more cow then the rest of the cows. I give her the advantage in frame and on dairyness and angularity over the 2nd 5 year old who has an exceptional udder.   The reserve uses her bloom of udder and defination of seam to beat out the open ribbed dairy senior 2  year old. for frame who has a great future ahead of her.

The winning Senior 3 Year old, Victoria used her overall dairyness, angular and depth of seam to beat out the winning 4 Year Old, Terror for Grand Champion.  Terror used her overall style, depth of rib and bloom to mammary system to beat out the 2nd place 3 year old, Brittany for Reserve.
