Using my SUmmer yearling for Junior champion this heifer has a beautiful sweep of rib and still with a nice uphill run.  I am following her with the similar Senior Calf that has the similar uphill run and depth of rear rib.  She uses her more correct set of feet and legs to place over the winning Intermediate yearling for Reserve.

My Junior Champion will be my Junior yearling.  She has alot of style and balance and excels even though I would like to mass her out abit she is so stylish and pretty.  She is more feminine and angular then the Summer yearling who exhits that high style and has great length from end to end. Eventhough I would like to clean her up abit she uses her overall length for Reserve over the open ribbed WInter Yearling.

Judge Burdettes Comments:

Using my Mature cow she is my kind of cow she has that big square frame, width and openness of rib with a huge uphill run.  She uses her length and openness as well as the way she handles her rear legs and feet to beat out the winning 5 Year Old. The 5 year old uses her bloom to udder and number of calvings to beat out the winning Junior 3 Year Old who is a beautiful young cow with a bright future.
