The Holstein Association USA Inc., Brattleboro, Vt., has awarded the Gold Medal Sire designation to two Select Sires bulls—7HO8477 Willow-Marsh-CC GABOR-ET (EX-90) and 7HO8856 Ri-Val-Re-2338 NIAGRA-ET.

GABOR and NIAGRA are elite TPI sires ranked among the breed’s top 60 bulls, being high-type specialists that produce volumes of milk. Both sires are complemented with positive fat and protein pounds and are calving ease sires. GABOR, at +1904 TPI, ranks third in Select Sires lineup for Milk (+1,839). He also ranks among the top 15 sires at Select for type conformation at +2.28. At +1913 TPI, NIAGRA rounds out the top 10 sires at Select for Milk (+1,613 Milk) and the top 20 bulls for Type (+2.00) and Udder Composite (+1.94).
