Diamond Genetics, a Global leader in the Holstein Genetics industry, are currently looking for a Sales Manager to further their growing business in the UK.

The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of Holstein pedigrees, and be able to work with a growing customer base of Holstein breeders and International AI companies.

Main duties will include selecting and exporting bulls from UK breeders to fulfil demand for potential AI customers throughout Europe, and offering and selling embryos and live animals to a growing number of customers within the UK and Ireland.

Other duties will include working with Eurogenes, a company specialising in Internet Heifer, Embryo and bull sales and also the promotion of breeders herds. Eurogenes also publishes the Hotspots magazine and the successful applicant may be expected to provide editorial content based on UK cow families and successes.

The position will entail some International travel, and requires a high level of self motivation, and organisational skills, as the position requires the applicant to work independently from the UK, but in close contact with colleagues in the US, Canada, and mainland Europe.

Above all, the successful applicant must have an enthusiasm to succeed.

Re-numeration will be based on experience, and involve working approximately 35-40 hours a week.
